How do spend 80% of your time

My goal is to spend 80% of my time on the tasks that are going to bring me in the greatest results.

I focus on 3 main areas in my business;

1. Creating and distributing content
2. Creating and delivering new courses / current course content
3. Networking & building relationships

So over the course of a week, I'm constantly looking for ways to get the greatest results in any one of these 3 areas.

If I catch myself spending time doing anything that takes me away from these, then I start to look at how I can systemise and outsource the task I am doing.

However, sometimes life gets in the way and you can get to the end of a whole day or week and realise you've achieved nothing!

That's why it's important to not only plan the week ahead but also review the week behind, so you can highlight some weaknesses and make a note of how you can change / outsource or improve on those areas moving forward.

Remember, you want to spend 80% of your time doing the things that are going to get you the greatest results.

Take some time out today and review last week and plan the week ahead.

Decide today what you want to have accomplished by this time next week and then dive headlong into it tomorrow!

We have embarked into a New Marketing Era!

Hundreds of ground-breaking marketing strategies are now available at our disposal and one thing is for sure: traditional marketing techniques of the past have been surpassed by bigger and better things.

Do you know someone who is waiting until they "know it all" before they begin to

earn money online?

 

Well guess what? They will never know it all, because things keep changing!

And we think that's just an excuse, anyway. When you're afraid to do
something because you don't know where to start, it's easy to say,
"I'll just wait until I know more."

But those people are ALWAYS waiting until they know more. They were waiting
last year, they're waiting this year, and next year they'll STILL be waiting. Maybe
they are suffering from procrastination.

Procrastination

There are many ways to avoid success in life, but in most cases is

procrastination. Procrastinators sabotage themselves. They put

obstacles in their own path, they actually choose paths that

will hurt their performance.

Now why would people do that? Twenty percent of people identify themselves as

chronic procrastinators. For them procrastination is a lifestyle, and it cuts happens

in all areas of their life.

    They don't pay their bills on time.

    They miss opportunities for buying tickets to concerts.

    They don't cash gift certificates or checks.

    They send in their income tax returns late.

    They leave their Christmas shopping until Christmas Eve.

Procrastinators tell themselves. "I'll feel more like doing this tomorrow." Or " I work best under pressure." But in fact they do not get the urge the next day or work best under pressure. In addition, they protect their sense of self by saying "this isn't important."

Procrastinators actively look for distractions, particularly ones that don't take a lot of commitment on their part. Checking e-mail is almost perfect for this purpose. They distract themselves as a way of regulating their emotions such as fear of failure.

People procrastinate for different reasons: Avoiders, who may be avoiding fear of failure or even fear of success, but in either case, are very concerned with what others might think of them. They would rather have others think they lack effort than ability. Decisional procrastinators, who cannot make a decision, not making a decision absolves procrastinators of responsibility for the outcome of events.

There are big costs to procrastination. Health is one. There is evidence of compromised immune systems as more colds and flu, more gastrointestinal problems and insomnia. In addition, procrastination has a high cost to others as well as oneself; it shifts the burden of responsibilities onto others, who become resentful.

 

Procrastination destroys teamwork in the workplace and private relationships.
