UK Broadband Speed
The UK Office of National Statistics revealed that more than 18 million homes in the UK now have the internet. This is round about 70% of homes. Over 63% have a broadband connection, seven per cent more than in 2008.

BT Broadband Upgrade Announced
Britain’s BT has announced that they will increase their broadband connections to up to 20Mbit/s at no extra charge. Millions of broadband customers in the right areas who are currently on up to 8 Mbit/s service will see their download speed reach to 20Mbit/s. BT have not said what they intend to do for customers who are not in the ‘right’ areas?

MI5 Attacked
It has been reported that computer hackers have apparently attacked MI5s official website and tried to steal identities of visitors to the site. Hackers could have downloaded viruses onto the machines of anyone using the British intelligence service website. MPs said the hackers attack is deeply concerning.
